All things Christmassy will be on offer at the Darmstadt Christmas market set against the historic backdrop of the palace and the old town hall. The market traditionally opens on the Monday after Remembrance Sunday at 6 p.m. Opening times: Monday – Saturday 10.30 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

A highlight of the Darmstadt Christmas market is the arts and crafts tent in the market square. This is where artists and artisans can showcase their products. The tent is open on weekdays from midday til 9 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
