Sauerland - a hiker's dream

Sauerland is perfect walking country!
Woodlands stretching as far as the eye can see, gently rolling hills cross-crossed by gurgling streams and interspersed with the most amazing viewpoints, plenty of charming places to grab a snack or a drink. With the emerald green of Lake Hennesee right in the very middle the Sauerland is the most perfect place to enjoy some hill walking. 
There are three walking tours that we recommend and which have been personally tried and tested by our Hennesee team. You will also receive a detailed walking map:
Xaver’s Tip -> easy / 12 km
Wodlands & Meadows -> medium / 15 km
All around the lake -> hard / 20 km

Package includes
• 2 nights’ accommodation in a First-Class room overlooking Lake Hennesee
