Veste CoburgAn unusual collection of armements and weapons of war some of which originate from the Veste armoury. The exhibition comprises hunting weapons, other hunting paraphernalia, valuable works of art, the oldest original carriages in the world, a large banqueting hall with the largest iron stove still in its complete and original condition, Luther’s room, paintings by Dürer, Cranach the Older and Grünewald or the marquetry hunting room all of which make any visit to the Veste Coburg a unique and interesting experience. Opening times: April to October daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. November to March daily (except Mondays) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. |
